In Store Custom ProcessCome by the store to discuss your custom hat, wether you have a specific style in mind or are unsure we can help you find the perfect hat for you! We discuss colour, style, crown shape and height, brim width and shape, trims, and finishings. We will measure your head and take a mold with our proprietary head shape/sizing kit. From there we create a custom brim block that replicates your head shape and size which we will use to get the perfect fit when creating your hat.

Remote Custom ProcessContact us to order your custom shape/sizing kit. Once you receive the kit we schedule a video call to help with the measurements and mold to achieve the perfect fit. We will also discuss colour, style, crown shape and height, brim width and shape, trims and finishings. Once we receive the shape/sizing kit back we will create your custom brim block and begin creating your perfect hat.

Hat CareDust/Debris: Use a 100% horse hair brush such as you would use for polishing shoes, and brush your hat in a counter clockwise motion. Rain/Water: Your hat is happy to worn in the rain! When drying your hat make sure there is airflow through the crown. If the sweatband is wet lift it up and out of the crown so there is airflow between it and the reed. Storing your hat: We don't recommend storing your hat in the back of a closet, we do suggest you hang your hat using a hat appropriate hook. We often use flexible door stops (spring style) to hang hats on the wall, they are inexpensive, come in many colours and can be removed leaving only the disk on the wall. There are a number of beautiful option available for hanging your hat from wood to macrame, just be sure that any hook you use is rounded and soft enough to not leave a dent in the crown of your hat over time. Travelling with your hat: I usually advocate for wearing your hat while travelling however that isn't always practical. If you are going to pack you hat I recomend you pack the crown frull of small soft things, set it in your suitcase and pack soft things around it to encourage it keeping it's shape while packed. Unpack your hat as soon as reasonably possible. For any other hat care, cleaning concerns please contact us we are happy to help!
